Key Center Membership Matters
Lecanto, Florida, February 2, 2007- The Key Training Center urges citizens of Citrus County to show their interest in the needs and abilities of people who are developmentally disabled by becoming a member of its organization.
In today's world, numbers count. Key Training Center Members demonstrate a solid commitment to raising funds while remaining a strong voice in support of adults with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities.
"There is great strength in numbers," said Iris Whittaker, Key Center Foundation Director. "The size of our membership list translates into more clout with legislators and regulatory agencies when asking for funds for programs that are vital to those that are less fortunate."
The Key Center needs to add more names to their list of over 1,000 card carrying members. Membership donations range from $15 to $1,000 and above. As a 2007 Key Member, members receive a membership card that entitles them to some added benefits including a 15% discount at the Key Center thrift stores and garden center. Membership donations are tax deductible.
To join or receive a membership brochure, stop by one of the Key Center Thrift Stores located in Inverness (1625 W. Main Street) and Lecanto (5337 W.
