Accreditation:
Key Training Center is licensed by: Florida Board of Pharmacy, Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services, Agency for Persons with Disabilities, Office of Licensure and Certification, Adult and Aging Services, Medicaid, and Child Development Services. All facilities and program components, of the Key Training Center, comply with the safety and health requirements as required by the local and state fire marshals, Citrus County Health Department and the Florida Department of Children and Families. Key Center is in compliance with the United States Department of Health and Human Services; regulations under Title VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Florida Bill of Rights for Retarded Persons, and Section 503 and 504, Rehabilitation Act, Title IX Educational Amendments, ADA, Fair Housing Laws and is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The Key Training Center Community Based Employment Services are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). We currently have a 3-year accreditation, the highest level possible.
The Key Center has been funded by the Citrus County Commissioners since 1969. Key Training Center is supported, in part, by: the Citrus County Board of County Commissioners, Citrus County School Board, Citrus County United Way, Florida Department of Children and Families, Agency for Persons with Disabilities, State of Florida, Adult and Aging Services, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Florida Department of Transportation, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, State of Florida Agency for Health Care Administration, Medicaid Program, and Child Development Services.
