Handy Person

The Key Thrift Stores provide valuable income to support programs for the developmentally disabled, training sites for clients to develop skills that will lead to employment, and a service to community residents providing merchandise at an affordable price. Donated items are frequently in need of repair and must be discarded. The Handy Person recycles many of these items through cleaning or making minor repairs.

The Handy Person works behind the scenes but must be kind, considerate, and patient because of regular contact with the general public and with program participants. The individual should be able to make repairs on small appliances and/or furniture.
