BENEFITS
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, to include paid vacation, sick and personal time (full-time employees), paid holidays (full-time employees) and 401k (all employees).
Health Insurance - we offer a comprehensive health package through Blue Cross/Blue Shield. This includes dental, vision care discount program, voluntary/additional life (to include spouse and children); additional coverage types are available through AFLAC. Insurance is available to full time employees (those working 32+ hours per week), with a $10 co-pay for "employee only" coverage. Insurance is available after 90 days probation, or annually at open enrollment.
Leave Time - full time employees accrue vacation, sick and personal time, based on years of service. This time is available for their use after 90 days. Part time employees are also entitled to vacation; however, this is unpaid time.
Holidays - We observe seven (7) holidays per year, as follows: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day,Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. All full time employees are paid for holidays; part time employees do not receive compensation, but are eligible for holidays. Holidays are effective immediately upon hire, with no waiting period.
401(k) - All employees, full time and part time, are eligible to participate in our 401(k) plan, contingent upon working 12 months and 1000 hours. Once an employee has met these criteria, they may enroll in the Symmetra 401(k) plan by contacting the Human Resource department for a plan description and enrollment forms.
Direct Deposit Service - Available to all employees; Key employees are also eligible to open accounts through Suncoast Schools Credit Unions
