Merchandiser
The Key Thrift Stores provide valuable income to support programs for the developmentally disabled, training sites for clients to develop skills that will lead to employment, and a service to community residents providing merchandise at an affordable price.
Individuals who work in the stores love to be with the public and meet new people on a regular basis. Merchandisers must be flexible, patient, friendly, and outgoing. Persons in this position will are in contact with the general public and work side by side with program
participants.
Activities:
- Arrange merchandise in attractive displays.
- Sort donations.
- Price and tag items to be sold.
- Act as cashier
- Assist customers.
- Keep merchandise neat and organized.
Requirements:
- Able to work a minimum of one 2 to 4 hour shift weekly
- Must be available when stores are open for business Monday through
Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
